Requirements

  • High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree in design, sales, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Previous sales experience preferred (lighting, home improvement, design, or related industry a plus)
  • Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, designers, builders, and vendor partners
  • Develop new business opportunities with both traditional and non-traditional customers
  • Provide personalized lighting consultations to in-showroom and phone customers
  • Guide customers through product selection, design recommendations, pricing, and order completion
  • Successfully resolve customer questions and concerns while maintaining long-term relationships
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment
  • Stay current on lighting trends, product innovations, and vendor offerings through training and self-development
  • Ensure compliance with company and showroom policies and procedures
