Responsibilities

  • Prepare and plate seasonal dishes that enhance wine-tasting experiences at a luxury level
  • Execute wine-friendly food preparation with precision and artistry
  • Apply pairing techniques to elevate the guest experience and align with our fine dining standards
  • Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and proper ingredient handling
  • Work efficiently across multiple stations in a fast-paced, high-end kitchen
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service and exceptional hospitality
  • Assist with banquets and events, delivering high-quality dining experiences

Requirements

  • 1+ year of culinary experience is required
  • 2+ years of experience in fine dining, winery, or upscale restaurant environments is preferred
  • Culinary degree or formal training is preferred
  • Experience in classic and modern cooking techniques; familiarity with or an eagerness to learn fish, vegetable, and meat butchery as well as pasta cooking and/or dough preparation and sauce making
  • A high level of organization, precision, and respect for ingredients (mise en place)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff to create a seamless guest experience
  • Familiarity with inventory management and minimizing food waste
  • Understanding of food allergies, dietary restrictions, and menu adaptations
  • Commitment to sustainability and farm-to-table practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events
