Responsibilities
- Completing food prep duties including cleaning and cutting ingredients.
- Preparing sauces for use in the restaurant.
- Assisting with stocking and kitchen station set-up.
- Cleaning and maintaining prep areas.
- Working with front of house staff to ensure orders fulfill guest’s requests.
- Cooking food in your station in a timely and effective manner.
- Plating dishes based on guidance from a senior team member.
- Compliance with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
- The ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- The ability to reach, bend, and twist as needed.
- Ability to use hands to control, feel, and operate tools and objects.
- Experience within a kitchen environment.
- Able to follow recipes accurately and to make adjustments as needed to fulfill guests’ specifications.
