About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced line cook to join our culinary team. Requirements

3-5 years of prior experience in a professional restaurant or comparable high-volume kitchen environment, or an equivalent combination of culinary school training and hands-on experience.
Ability to travel to and from assigned work locations using reliable transportation is required.
Must have and maintain own knives appropriate for professional kitchen use.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food preparation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Team-oriented, and a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.
Reliable personal transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Department of Health (DOH) regulations.
Assist with prep work, including chopping, slicing, portioning, and stocking stations.
Execute service efficiently during peak meal periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Properly store food items & label products.
Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned.
Report equipment issues, food quality concerns, or safety hazards to kitchen leadership.
