Positions require employees to stand directly in front of a moving conveyor aligned side-by-side with other employees in close proximity and sort, place, arrange, pull designated ingredients and pack finished product according to safety, quality and production standards. Employees are assigned to different duties on the assembly line which typically change throughout the day to include sorting, assembling, inspecting and/or packing product. General Duties & Responsibilities: Qualified candidates will have the desire to grow into a machine operator within a short timeframe. Work safely and report safety hazards immediately Follow work rules, policies and procedures Uphold food safety requirements. Includes overall good hygiene: washing hands in the plant as required and wearing smock, sleeves, gloves, boots/shoe covers, hair net and beard net as appropriate. Work well with other employees to meet required line speed requirements. Place supplemental ingredients when rework is required Estimate substandard weights, counts, shapes/sizes and pull and place in designated containers Pull and pack finished goods into containers Report line breakdowns or quality problems immediately to the line operator, line lead or supervisor Perform other duties as assigned including relocation to other production lines or company locations. It is important to understand assignments are solely at the discretion of the supervisor and are based on labor shortages and product variations “This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.”
