About The Position
The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views. To clean and maintain all carpets in public and associate areas, in accordance with Omni Standards.
Requirements
- Able to maintain a 4-Diamond level of service.
- Able to work with Management on special projects.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Misc. floor care equipment.
- Ensure all public space areas, furniture, and floors are cleaned and maintained.
- Shampoo and spot clean all hotel carpeted areas.
- Operate and maintain carpet cleaning machinery and supplies
- Shampoo lobby and public area carpets.
- Shampoo all guestroom and hallway carpets
- Reporting all damages to carpeted areas.
- Responsible for rotation of throw rugs.
- Proper documentation of scheduled cleaning cycles.
