THE JOB: As a Linen Control & Shipper at MGM Grand, you will receive finished product from other departments and prepares these for a daily delivery for all departments, inputs daily poundage record in the Laundry Track system THE STARTING RATE: $19.50 hourly THE DAY-TO-DAY: Operate and maneuver standard linen hampers of 250-300 pounds Unload linen truck at the dock and take to appropriate lockers Stock clean linen on locker shelves according to par levels, place new linen to the back and existing stock to the front for good rotational usage Inventory each linen locker to determine requirements for set par levels Remove soiled linen hampers from linen chutes when full, replace them, and take the soiled linen to the dock Maintain cleanliness of all linen areas on a daily basis, including sweeping, mopping and organizing Report needed maintenance and safety hazards in assigned areas
Requirements
- 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Nice To Haves
- Knowledgeable in linen control preferred
