About The Position

The primary purpose of the Linen Distribution Manager position is to lead the utilization of linen in a health care facility. This includes supervising linen technicians responsible for the distribution and collection of linen, and ensuring customer needs are met through inventory analysis, quality control, and cost management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years outside management experience
  • Exceptional professional presence
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to resolve both customer and employee issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Comfortable in a team-based environment
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the linen distribution department including onboarding, training, and coaching of employees and ensuring staffing meets the needs of the customer.
  • Seek out opportunities to improve utilization of linen.
  • Coordinate with plant, fleet, and service personnel to ensure high-quality products are served to the customer in an efficient manner.
  • Act as the primary representative of Crown during customer interactions, receiving feedback, following up with resolutions, and proposing new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels using internal inventory tracking software, hand-counts, and routine audits.
  • Seek collaboration and/or assistance from senior managers at Crown when needed to resolve any issues.
  • Keep exceptional records regarding customer contacts, customer service issues, and details of resolution.
  • Any other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
  • Must be willing and able to work with both clean and soiled linen in accordance with Crown policies and procedures.
