About The Position

Lines and pads pallets and assemble cartons in preparation for packing., Organizes standing liners in staging area according to delivery dates and residential/commercial distinction., Determine packing sequence for best fit., Packs supply items with liner shipments if necessary., Places protective material, if required, between products on pallets., Completes line item information on customer’s pick list., Documents any back order information on customer’s pick list., and Perform quality control inspections after each step in the manufacturing process. You have the authorization to stop any process that is questionable and seek the approval of the team lead before processing. Job Description Pack Bathtub liners, replacement tubs and shower bases and supply items for customer orders by performing the following duties. Observes weight, height and quantity guidelines for specific dealers/customers or products. Obtains supervisor/QC authorized sign-off on quality and accuracy of shipment prior to final packaging of order. Closes and seals containers. Affixes packing slip and shipping address label to containers as required. Completes orders either independently or as a team depending on the size and complexity of the order. Observes first-in, first-out rotation of raw material inventory. Notifies supervisor of scrap and reject product to assure proper documentation/recording. Monitors inventory of stock items and packaging materials and requisitions items as needed. Maintains daily log of work completed. Moves completed pallets to crating area for final packaging. Assists with monthly and quarterly inventory counts as necessary. Utilizes good housekeeping practices. Keeps work area clean and organized.
