About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Linux Lab Administrator with a strong background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, general IP networking, and familiarity with Everfox Trusted Thin Client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying new clusters and cells for the Azure Access Point infrastructure, based on Everfox Trusted Thin Client (TTC). The candidate will manage and maintain the Linux-based lab systems, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and reliability. Additionally, the candidate will document the physical and logical topology of the lab, including operational procedures. Note: This position offers the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project, ensuring the continued success and security of the infrastructure for government and enterprise clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UNIX/Linux Administrator, ideally with RedHat systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of security controls, authentication (e.g., smartcards, CAC), and network segmentation.
  • Familiarity with thin client, virtual desktop, or cross-domain access solutions.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, MS AVM).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new secure access frameworks and technologies (such as Everfox TTC) even if not previously used.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI not required but preferred.

  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator – Associate (AZ-104)
  • Industry-standard entry-level network certification (e.g., A+, CCNA, etc.)
  • Experience with Azure deployment and management, including:
  • Deploying and configuring Azure resources.
  • Monitoring and optimizing Azure environments for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensuring Azure deployments adhere to security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based secure access solution Everfox Trusted Thin Client (TTC) in lab environment.
  • Support policies and configuration of TTC via the TTC deployment console (DC).
  • Ensure compliance with stringent security standards and best practices for network/data separation.
  • Collaborate with network engineers to integrate Linux systems with network infrastructure.
  • Support the operations of existing Azure Access Point clusters, ensuring they meet security and performance baselines.
