About The Position
The Opportunity: Install systems on dedicated infrastructure, ensure the infrastructure is functional and available, and update and patch critical systems. Provide customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Accomplish work without considerable direction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with systems administration
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
- Experience with managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
- Knowledge of Linux iptables, networking configuration, and DNS
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AWS DevOps, Cloud Formation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) , such as SaltStack or Ansible
- Experience with Python, YAML, JSON
- DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification
