Syngenta Crop Protection is headquartered in Switzerland The role involves tasks related to the production of liquid plant products in all its phases, as required by the operating manual. It involves the knowledge and application of company procedures relating to safety and quality, as well as the execution of one's duties respecting expected times and resources.

Requirements

  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent. Technical background is preferred.
  • Prior production, packaging or quality control experience desired
  • Demonstrates keen attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Embraces continuous learning and quickly applies new knowledge.
  • Works effectively in teams to achieve common goals.
  • Manages time efficiently to meet production deadlines.
  • Prioritizes safety and maintains high quality standards in all operations.
  • The role requires a propensity for production activities, with particular dedication to compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Ability to analyze deviations from the standard is required to be reported to the shift manager.
  • The ability to relate with a positive attitude towards colleagues is fundamental.

Responsibilities

  • Operate multiple formulating equipment in accordance with established operator standard work, ensuring adherence to prescribed formulation batch cycle times.
  • Setting up and running of multiple semi and automatic filling lines including loading materials operating a wide range of machinery, product clean downs, equipment size changeovers, downtime recording.
  • Work within site policies & procedures while performing proceduralized operations safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot equipment with assistance and solve problems; provide feedback and corrective actions when processes during the shift do not meet cycle time.
  • Operate forklift and perform hand additions to formulation vessels.
  • Maintain and improve safety, environmental and housekeeping standards.
  • Interpretation of planning documentation, carrying out and recording quality checks.
  • Operate various information systems associated with F&P technology.
  • Carry out basic maintenance activities on the filling lines and associated plant
