About The Position

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a highly respected law firm in West Palm Beach to identify a seasoned Litigation Legal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven litigation environment. This role is ideal for a polished legal professional with strong law firm tenure and hands-on experience supporting attorneys through every stage of litigation. The firm is seeking someone who brings both precision and reliability—someone who understands the urgency, confidentiality, and detail required to keep litigation teams operating at the highest level. This is a fully onsite position and requires prior law firm litigation support experience to be considered .

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of direct litigation legal assistant experience within a law firm environment
  • Demonstrated experience with court filings, pleadings, and litigation documentation
  • Strong working knowledge of litigation processes, deadlines, and court procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to work fully onsite in West Palm Beach, FL
  • Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship now or in the future)
  • Consistent job history and professional presentation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience tracking litigation deadlines and managing complex attorney calendars
  • Dictation/transcription experience and strong document proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with legal technology platforms such as iManage, Intapp, LMS+, Kofax/Nuance , or similar tools
  • Paralegal studies coursework, legal assistant certification, or litigation-focused training
  • Prior experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously in an active litigation practice

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, formatting, and electronically filing pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and court submissions
  • Drafting litigation correspondence, memoranda, and routine legal documentation with accuracy and professionalism
  • Managing case files, organizing exhibits, and maintaining litigation binders (digital and physical)
  • Monitoring court deadlines, calendaring key dates, and ensuring compliance with procedural requirements
  • Coordinating attorney schedules, depositions, hearings, client meetings, and conference calls
  • Communicating effectively with court personnel, clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
  • Transcribing dictated material and assisting with document revisions under tight timelines
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, reimbursements, and expense or payment requests
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality while supporting sensitive and high stakes matters
