THIS IS A 12-HOUR ROTATING SHIFT.

Requirements

High School/GED with preference for education and/or certification in related mechanical or electrical fields. Relevant education and certifications may be considered toward experience requirement.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting, particularly focusing on plant operations and maintenance.
Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
The capability to implement gas handling procedures and troubleshoot using PIDs and PFDs.
Possession of a legitimate driver’s license and the capacity to use company vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

Operates all Station prime movers and compressors, including start, stop, load adjustment, alarm monitoring and initial response as required.
Operate and maintain all equipment associated with liquefying and vaporizing natural gas
Applying PIDs and PFDs for troubleshooting process issues and implementing gas handling procedures and LOTOs (Lock Out, Tag Out)
Controlling and continuously monitoring compression and process variables at the LNG facility.
Maintain the plant and associated equipment for the purposes of liquefying and vaporizing liquid natural gas.
In a safe and efficient manner, operate and maintain the liquefication and vaporization process, turbine compressors, all in-plant machinery and equipment including start-ups and shut-downs, service and repair engines, compressors, pumps, and motors.
Maintain buildings, grounds, and all in-plant piping and conduits.
Assists others in routine troubleshooting and repair of station equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
