About The Position

The Load Planner plays a key role in UniGroup’s transportation operations, developing and executing solutions that maximize truck capacity, ensure service excellence, and support business growth. This position involves planning and dispatching shipments, tracking orders from origin to destination, and collaborating with agents, van operators, customers, vendors, and third-party carriers. The Load Planner uses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver on-time, cost-effective, and high-quality transportation services while supporting UniGroup’s operational and financial objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2–3 years of work experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, or a related industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Effective communicator with proven collaboration skills across internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and dispatch shipments to maximize equipment utilization and ensure on-time service.
• Monitor shipments and proactively address service issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with agents, drivers, customers, and carriers to resolve challenges and optimize transportation solutions.
• Negotiate with carriers and partners to support profitability and efficiency goals.
• Track performance metrics and contribute to process improvements that enhance service, quality, and growth.
• Collaborate across departments to support operational problem-solving and effective decision-making.
