Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Local Site Security team lead providing support to employees, new hires, and candidates. Candidate will assist with customer support to individuals with personnel security related questions and briefings in a sometimes high volume, as needed, environment. Candidate will obtain fingerprints, verification of citizenship, and badging photos of applicants and employees. Candidate will maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism while preparing, handling, and processing information. Duties will include supporting new employee orientations and hiring events. Some events take place on weekends.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
  • DoD Clearance: Secret

Nice To Haves

  • Previous personnel security experience working in government systems, such as DISS will be beneficial in this roles
  • Familiarity with large scale event support, including prescreening, fingerprinting, providing briefings, and collecting information from attendees.
  • Bachelor degree.

Responsibilities

  • Execute fingerprinting for new employees.
  • Conduct briefing/debriefings.
  • Perform citizenship verification.
  • Complete employee status changes.
  • Processes all reportable events for the cleared employee population at Raytheon, Tucson which includes name changes, marriage/divorce, foreign travel, foreign contacts, and other adverse or incidents impacting employee clearance eligibility
