Live Oak Classical School is eager to find a Math teacher for our Logic and Rhetoric students, who loves teaching Math, so that excellence in teaching is a personal goal as well as a school objective. A Live Oak Math and Science teacher should exemplify a Christian worldview in personal life, embrace the classical model of education, enjoy and love students, demonstrate knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities, maintain a positive, orderly learning environment, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. To implement the approved curriculum and to establish a class environment that follows the classical methodology with a Christian worldview while incorporating the educational ideals of Charlotte Mason; to establish a classroom that fosters a love of learning and thinking, cooperation, and personal and social growth; to maintain good relationships with students, parents, other staff members and the community; to exhibit the highest standards of collegiality and professionalism.
