You will be responsible for accomplishing clerical duties assigned to you by the Logistics Manager.

Requirements

• Must have 1 year working in a clerical environment and equivalent details.
• Familiarity with freight handling, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Physical.
• Must be very detail oriented and highly organized.
• Outstanding computer skills: Accurate Data Entry Skills, alpha and numeric, 10 key by touch, MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, 45 wpm
• Professional communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment and schedule workload

Nice To Haves

• Logistics background experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule loads for drivers.
• Perform reporting tasks
• Ensure assigned duties are accomplished accurately and in a timely fashion
• Manage inbound phone calls as needed
• Research requested information and ensured expedient response.
• Provide administrative support to the department.
• Help cover other clerical duties when someone is on vacation or absent.
• Help with other projects throughout the office as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
