About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator dispatches company and contracted drivers for scheduled and on-demand oil hauling and service work. This role monitors driver status, load progress, and field activity to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. The position also maintains accurate dispatch documentation, communicates with drivers and customers to resolve issues, and supports operational performance through reporting and exception management. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: The following represents most of the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies. Dispatch company and/or contracted drivers for scheduled and on-demand service work/oil hauling loads Monitor driver status, hours of service, and route progress; Record all phases thoroughly within dispatch ticketing system Monitor SCADA systems and field cameras to validate field activity and ensure safe operations Track loads from pickup through delivery and update systems in real time Communicate with drivers, terminals, customers, and carriers to resolve issues Adjust dispatch plans due to delays, breakdowns, weather, or operational changes Verify bills of lading (BOLs), delivery receipts, and load documentation Enter and maintain load, mileage, and delivery data in dispatch system Support compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements Assist with detention tracking, layover reporting, and exception management Generate daily dispatch, utilization, and on-time performance reports Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum of 1–3 years of logistics dispatch or transportation coordination experience required Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Capable of bridging communication between field operations and corporate teams Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, terminals, customers, and carriers to resolve operational issues Proficient in data entry and comfortable performing high-volume, repetitive administrative tasks with accuracy Strategic thinker with the ability to understand and support broader operational objectives Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Working Conditions/Environment: Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of logistics dispatch or transportation coordination experience required
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
