Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of goods across all company facilities and to customers. This role ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of products by coordinating with third-party logistics providers, managing shipping documentation, and supporting inventory and customer service operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Shipping & Transportation Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery deadlines. Work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and direct carriers to arrange and monitor deliveries. Prepare and distribute Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documentation. Arrange domestic shipments (LTL, FTL, UPS, FedEx). Ensure compliance with customer-specific shipping requirements. Tender and trace all freight shipments and manage freight claims and disputes. Inventory & Operations Monitor inventory levels using ERP systems and assist with intrasite transfers. Perform RMA (Return Material Authorization) and MDF (Material Disposition Form) closures. Support continuous improvement of inventory and logistics procedures. Customer Service & Support Provide order status updates and resolve delivery issues in collaboration with customer service. Ensure on-time delivery performance to customers and internal stakeholders. Analytics & Reporting Use data analysis tools to evaluate logistics performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide transportation cost analysis to support sales and supply chain decisions. Compile and report service levels and pricing metrics to internal teams. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. Safety Protocol o Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. o Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
