In the role of Logistics Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to: · Translate user requirements and design data into hardware, software, and performance criteria. · Develop and implement comprehensive life cycle support methodologies. · Perform functional and performance analyses on systems, equipment, and software to define engineering support functions. · Ensure quality and functional adequacy throughout the project life cycle. · Establish systems and equipment logistic support requirements, including standards for acceptance and adherence to design criteria. · Maintain and verify adherence to applicable maintenance standards across all supported platforms. · Conduct thorough reviews of program documentation to ensure compliance with standards, requirements, and overarching program goals. · Provide fielding support, including interface, integration and logistic support to the current, future, and legacy cryptographic devices and tactical network protection hardware or software currently fielded throughout the Army infrastructure. · Provide technical information, guidance and program management support to system managers who are developing systems requiring secure communication applications and apparatus. · Take detailed notes and produce reports based on locations, equipment and ancillary networking equipment surveyed. · Have the knowledge to identify security violations at customer sites. · Be able to install new equipment in accordance with all applicable security guidelines. · At the time of appointment, have a current U.S. passport and be ready to travel up to 50% of the time outside the country for several weeks at a time. · Be ready to travel stateside up to 50% of the time. · Be ready to travel on short-term notice, as required by the Government Task Leader.
