Assist in optimizing distribution operations through hands on slotting execution, inventory flow analysis, and data driven process improvement within a fast paced distribution center environment. Requirements

  • Self-directed, task oriented, and flexible in fast-paced distribution environment
  • Strong attention to detail and process discipline, well organized
  • Data analysis skills using Excel and/or PowerBi
  • Exposure to analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving methods
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and support both strategic and hands-on initiatives
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solver, able to develop ideas and suggestions for process improvements.
  • Ability to maintain and build effective relationships with cross-functional team
  • Ability to stand up to 8-10 hours during shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically
  • Associates degree or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred
  • 1-3 years previous experience in distribution center operations, inventory control, slotting, or logistics analytics preferred
  • Must have access to reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Inventory analysis and slotting optimization – analyze inventory profiles including seasonality, velocity, and sku dimensions to make effective slotting decisions
  • Maintain and validate system replenishment settings to ensure proper inventory placement and replenishment flow
  • Conduct analysis to ensure slotting, packaging and storage methods align with operational requirements
  • Responsible to determine and maintain item master data
  • Identify barriers to performance and assist leadership team through problem resolution
  • Own and execute projects including physical layout redesign and material handling improvements
  • Create/maintain procedures, guides, and process documentation
  • Support wave planning function by serving as a backup resource as needed
  • Support DC Operations to meet customer demand as needed.
