About The Position

The Logistics Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across CTC logistics, trade compliance, warehousing, and distribution activities within a NetSuite‑centric ERP environment. This role ensures the compliant, cost‑effective, and timely movement of raw materials and finished goods across domestic and international supply chains while maintaining high standards of data integrity, execution visibility, and operational control. The position plays a critical role in aligning logistics execution with production schedules, inventory strategies, customer commitments, and financial objectives through close collaboration with Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, and Commercial Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of global logistics, international shipping, and trade compliance requirements.
  • Experience operating within a NetSuite or ERP‑driven environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced, global operating environment.

Responsibilities

  • Global Logistics & Distribution Operations: Lead end‑to-end logistics operations, including international and domestic transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities. Ensure accurate and timely execution of inbound and outbound shipments, transfers, receipts, and order fulfillment transactions within NetSuite. Establish and maintain standardized logistics procedures to support scalability, consistency, and compliance across global operations. Interface with internal stakeholders to support customer delivery requirements, production priorities, and inventory deployment strategies.
  • NetSuite Governance & Transactional Integrity: Own logistics execution workflows within NetSuite, ensuring alignment between physical operations and system transactions. Ensure accuracy and governance of logistics‑related master data, including item attributes, locations, shipping methods, freight terms, and Incoterms. Partner with Planning and Finance to ensure logistics transactions support accurate costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvements in coordination with IT, Planning, Fulfillment and Purchasing departments.
  • Global Trade Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure full compliance with U.S. and foreign trade regulations, including export controls, customs requirements, HTS classification, country of origin, Incoterms, and applicable free trade agreements. Oversee preparation, validation, and retention of all import and export documentation. Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely customs clearance and regulatory adherence. Monitor changes in global trade regulations, tariffs, and geopolitical conditions and assess operational and system impacts.
  • Transportation Strategy & Cost Management: Lead carrier and third‑party logistics provider sourcing, contract negotiations, and freight bid activities. Develop and execute transportation strategies that optimize cost, service levels, and risk across all shipping modes and lanes. Monitor freight spend, carrier performance, and accessorial costs using NetSuite reporting and KPIs. Establish carrier performance scorecards and service‑level expectations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Warehousing & Inventory Management: Oversee warehouse and stockroom operations for all CTC finished goods and raw materials to ensure efficient material flow, secure storage, and inventory accuracy. Ensure alignment between warehouse execution and NetSuite inventory controls, including cycle counting, audits, and variance resolution. Partner with Planning and Manufacturing to support production schedules and optimize inventory positioning across locations. Maintain the security, organization, and operational readiness of all warehouse facilities.
  • Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Lead, coach, and develop logistics and warehouse teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and operational excellence. Manage staffing, scheduling, performance management, and employee development within the logistics organization. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Finance to support enterprise objectives. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and compliance.
  • Risk Management, Safety & Compliance: Ensure logistics and warehouse operations comply with OSHA, DOT, ISO, and company safety standards. Oversee safety training programs and promote a culture of safety and risk awareness. Identify logistics‑related operational risks, including capacity constraints, transportation disruptions, and compliance exposure, and implement mitigation strategies. Maintain compliance with company policies and recommend updates to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence: Leverage NetSuite reporting and analytics to monitor logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight performance, inventory accuracy, and cycle time. Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives focused on cost‑to‑serve reduction, process standardization, and scalability. Support sustainability and efficiency initiatives through optimized transportation, reduced waste, and improved network performance.
