Supervises the functions of the Warehouse, Material Handling, Traffic, Receiving, and Shipping departments. Compiles records related to the quantity, cost, and type of materials received, in stock, or issued. Instruct employees to identify damaged or incorrect materials and equipment and notify the appropriate individuals. Supervises employees using various equipment, such as forklifts, hand carts, and power trucks, to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within the plant, office, or warehouse. Oversee the processing and delivery of supplies, materials, and equipment. Manage the daily operations of the Logistics Department, ensuring that inbound and outbound freight schedules are met, corporate policies and procedures are adhered to, and equipment and staff are utilized optimally to maximize productivity. Ensures compliance with 49 CFR and IATA regulations.
