SCOPE OF POSITION: Responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships with customers. Assist customers with new orders and advises status of orders in process. Serves as primary back-up to the Supply Chain Supervisor. Monitor material readiness for shipments to meet customer demands and expectations. Set up shipments for domestic and International. Prepare all necessary shipping documents that are required.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Able to continuously lift and/or move 10 pounds and up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Processes orders in a timely fashion, meeting all deadlines
  • Creates the pack list and the Bill of Lading and scans into IMS and sends to the customer as needed
  • Maintains the Company's professional reputation
  • Provides consistent feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems
  • Conduct Inventory Cycle Counts as required.
  • Assists with picking/packing of large customer orders.
  • Loads/Unloads trucks as requested using a fork truck.
  • Performs all other related duties assigned by management.
