We are seeking a strategic and experienced Logistics Value Stream Lead within Johnson & Johnson Technology (JJT) organization to lead the implementation of the Transcend SAP S/4HANA global process template within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. T his role is responsible for deploying the standardized Logistics value stream solution globally that includes IM/WM, Transportation Management, Global Trade Service (GTS) functions ensuring strict adherence to SAP Clean Core principles while designing only legally required localizations. The ideal candidate will bring deep value stream process expertise, a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the life sciences sector, and a collaborative leadership approach with people management skills to successfully guide cross-functional teams through the ERP transformation journey This is a Senior Manager level role in J&J and the position will directly lead a cross-functional team of process experts in the areas of Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM), Transportation Management (TM), and GTS functions. Additionally, they will have matrix leadership over contractors, and support personal such as CEBA and PMO team members. They will be an active member of the IM Supply Chain JJT team, driving global standardization within Innovative Medicine of ERP technology solutions. The VSL will be a key face to the site personal for the specific deployment and will need to be able to shape and influence in the face of resistance to change.

Requirements

  • University level degree in quality, business/IT technical/scientific area or comparable education/experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Value Stream processes in a GxP-compliant environment, including commercial distribution, serialization, credit management, and revenue recognition.
  • Solid understanding of SAP Clean Core principles, extensibility strategies (e.g., In-App, Side-by-Side), and the implications for long-term system sustainability.
  • Strong leadership, Team and People management, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with business leaders, regulatory bodies, and global teams.
  • Familiarity with CSV, SDLC, GXP
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry.
  • Proficiency with SAP tools including S/4HANA modules relevant to the Logistics value streams
  • Experience with Agile methodology and good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Roadmap & Backlog Drive identification and prioritization of new technical features and/or enhancements for ERP capabilities to meet IM business needs
  • Align technology roadmaps to achieve efficient & effective delivery of business & customer value for IM requirements
  • Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing features, optimizing cost and improving delivery efficiency
  • Refine program backlog by adding necessary technical features; work with Product Owners and Suppliers to ensure that supplier delivered capacity & architectural integration is understood
  • Help Product Owners prioritize their backlogs, manage product / platform constraints and resolve cross-team dependencies; manage demand intake as required
  • Leadership - Value stream Leadership & Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business SMEs, Business Deployment, SAP consultants, validation experts, and system integrators in the execution of Value Stream-related project deliverables.
  • Lead the functions IM/WM, TM, and GTS to ensure fully integrated end-to-end process design.
  • Deployment - Solution Delivery & Validation Responsible for Solution Development (build) and testing of the solution, technical cutover, and hypercare within Logistics Valuestream
  • Deliver detailed solution design, configuration reviews, data migration validation, testing strategy (including GxP and CSV compliance), and business process walkthroughs.
  • Manage technical delivery and value realization in partnership with Global Template Owners, Technical Product Owners and Ecosystem Owners
  • Manage alignment of integrated build across Scrum teams to ensure the end-to-end build of each particular part of a solution is compliant and works as designed
  • Coordinate planning and execution of Technical Testing across scrum teams; Support business workstream lead to plan and complete User Acceptance Testing
  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, ensures SDLC documentation, system configuration and compliance activities are up to date as required
  • Drive continual measurement of capabilities against demand volume, complexity, business challenges and improvement within value stream(s)
  • Leadership Act as the prime liaison between the Business deployment team and the IM Transcend ERP team, partnering closely with the business & technology teams
  • Drive deployment activities across an international cross regional project team of Product Managers, Analysts through project design, execution, and deployment phases
  • Coordinate, lead, coach, motivate and inspire the team to both deliver on agreed plans and to continuously improve
  • Help Shape and Grow our JJT organization to enable a global intake, build and sustain process that will drive parallel program releases and ongoing operations, projects and enhancements as Transcend launches.
