About The Position
Provides instruction in the curricular areas and behavioral skills to students in 8th grade Math during teacher's absence
Requirements
- Appropriate State of Iowa Licensure including Substitute Authorization Certificate
- Flexibility in assignment given
- Ability to use good judgment

- Experience in classroom teaching PreK 12th grade preferred

- Intuitive to the needs of students
Responsibilities
- In the teacher's absence, follow the lesson plans provided to ensure programming associated with core curriculum and behavioral skills
- Follow behavior management plans for students
- Assists and collaborates with the administration, school counselor, staff, parents and students on matters pertaining to academic achievement and social/emotional/behavioral goals
- Maintains appropriate records and protects the confidentiality of data
- Reports to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis
- Other duties as assigned
