Long-Term Middle School Physical Education Substitute Historic Downtown Campus | Grades 6-8 At Moravian Academy, physical education is about far more than movement-it's about confidence, connection, and character. We are seeking a Long-Term Middle School Physical Education Substitute who brings energy, empathy, and purpose to every class, and who believes that the gym is a powerful classroom for growth. In this role, you'll design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education experiences for students in grades 6-8. You'll help students discover the joy of movement, build teamwork and perseverance, and develop lifelong healthy habits-all while fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels seen, supported, and motivated to participate. As a member of our Historic Downtown Campus community, you'll engage in community by building strong relationships with students and colleagues, collaborating with faculty, and actively participating in school life. As a co-advisor , you'll support a small group of middle school students through daily check-ins and relationship-centered guidance, helping them navigate their academic, social, and emotional development.
