About The Position

As a Loss Prevention Associate, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding company assets and personnel by helping reduce theft, fraud, and safety risks. Working closely with leadership and team members you’ll ensure security, promote awareness, and support a culture of safety—all while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. This part-time position is stationed at the front entrance, serving as both a welcoming presence and a key protector of safety and security at Imperial. Loss Prevention Associates play an important role in safeguarding our facility by helping reduce risks such as theft, fraud, vandalism, accidents, and procedural errors. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One to three months related experience and/or training in a Criminal Justice Program.
  • Proven ability to write routine reports/correspondence, speak in small group settings, and skilled telephone etiquette.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Outlook and Word and Excel, with solid data entry capabilities
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Monitors facilities through direct observation and the use of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Assists the LPM with investigations related to incidents involving company property; accidents; and procedural/policy violations.
  • Maintains programs related to Security to include: Personnel protection. Perimeter and facility protection. Asset movement.
  • Maintains programs related to Safety to include: Accident & injury prevention. Hazard Communication. Fire prevention and evacuation procedures. Disaster preparedness.
  • Assists the LPM in maintaining and administering mechanical lock systems and electronic security measures such as CCTV, access control, and alarms.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
