About The Position

The role involves reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed. The individual will be responsible for moving materials from receiving to storage or other designated areas and organizing inventory in a logical and concise sequence. Additionally, the role includes assembling customer orders from stock and assisting with loading onto vehicles. The individual will compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications and maintain the premises. There is also a requirement to help maintain work equipment by properly storing and cleaning equipment after use.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to apply understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instruction.
• Ability to do manual work requiring strenuous physical exertion, e.g., continuous walking, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
