We’re seeking a motivated Telecom Technician with 2 years related experience to perform a wide range of repair and troubleshooting tasks to ensure client satisfaction. Our Telecom Technician will be responsible for installing, as well as helping Genesys Impact clients choosing and maintaining low-voltage systems and cables.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in telecommunications or security
- High School Diploma, Bachelor preferred
- Organized, with great attention to detail
- Well versed in Excel and all MS Office Programs
- Strong and proactive communication (written, phone, and in person)
- Ability to work well with all levels of business partners
Nice To Haves
- BICSI Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of electronic systems including, but not limited to, fire alarms, temperature control, security, card access, intercom, clock, sound, and scoreboard systems.
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and providing training to new or existing staff as needed.
- Performing programming, data backup, and restoration functions for electronic systems, while providing labor and material estimates for electrical needs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and initiate and track work orders.
