About The Position
He/She ensures that compassionate, engaged care meets or exceeds quality standards. Care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the South Carolina licensure and AAMC standard of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a LPN program.
- IV Therapy course within one year of licensing.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles as well as hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrates ability to provide quality patient care
- Communicates and works effectively with people
- Possesses ability to assess patient's needs, i.e., clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
- Licensed to practice as Licensed Practical Nurse in State of South Carolina or have licensure from another state with application to South Carolina Board of Nursing for licensure with temporary permit.
- BLS current.
- PALS encouraged within 6 months of hire.
- ICU:ACLS required within six months of hire.
