Requirements

  • Current LPN license in the state of Ohio
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school
  • Previous nursing experience in a retirement community or hospital preferred
  • Strong customer service background with demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care and implement care plans
  • Administer medications, take vital signs, and document care activities
  • Give and receive shift reports; communicate with doctors as needed
  • Supervise and support STNAs and PCAs, assisting with tasks like feeding
  • Perform admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate records using MARS, TARS, and AOD
