Performs nursing functions and consumer care at a Facility Based Crisis Center including assessment, care, and treatment of clients at the facility; must adhere to standards of care as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and RHA. Requirements

• Active and current LPN Licensure in state of employment
• 2 years’ experience as a nurse working with behavioral health clients, preferred
• Working knowledge of psychoactive substance abuse, dependency and the principles and techniques based on best practices, commitment to the use of evidence based treatment and preventative methods
• Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required
• Complete criminal background
• Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
• Drug testing
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required)
• Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.

Nice To Haves

• working knowledge of the principle and techniques in counseling and the effective delivery of community-based healthcare services.
• Someone who understands the complex dynamics of the disease of chemical dependency, treatments, and resources available to support recovery would excel in this role.

Responsibilities

• Performing Nursing assessments and interventions with medications oversight and administration as needed.
• Reporting client’s social, psychological and physical behavior as indicated
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with standards of nursing practice that promote optimal health care delivery and meet regulatory requirements
• Implementing policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance with Confidentiality regulations, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), national accreditation agency and Continuous Quality Improvement, attending applicable meetings as necessary
• Using state guidelines, Quality Assurance Plan and Client Rights Policy, ensuring that clinical operations comply with state regulations and update plans and policies as necessary
• interviewing, making recommendations for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, motivating, disciplining and promoting team performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems
