About The Position

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide quality care in long-term care facilities. Requirements

• Valid NY State LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum one year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote comfort and safety.
• Monitor residents' health status and document changes accurately in patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
