Hillcrest Hospital’s 4 Southeast Unit is a 38-bed medical/surgical unit that is chest pain accredited and provides diagnostics procedures like cardiac Cath, angioplasty, stenting, and valve repair. As an LPN, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system. A caregiver in this position works 7:00pm – 7:30am.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
- Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross.
Nice To Haves
- One year of patient care experience.
Responsibilities
- Collect, document and report patient data and observations.
- Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.
- Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform routine laboratory tests.
- Educate patients and family members.
