Requirements

  • Current PA Licensed Practical Nurse License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Experience in Personal Care or Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Chart interdisciplinary progress notes in an informative and descriptive manner to reflect resident care.
  • Prepare and administer medications/treatments as ordered by a physician; Ensure drug & narcotic records are accurate and up to date for each shift; notify nurse manager of discrepancies; appropriately dispose of drugs & narcotics.
  • Assists the Director of Nursing with completion of documentation as required by the Department of Human Services, PA 2600.
  • Assists the Personal Care team to identify the physical, social, nutritional, spiritual, and activity needs of residents.
