About The Position

Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the left ventricular assist device (LVAD) program and the heart transplant program; to coordinate and manage the patient care of this high-risk patient population throughout the continuum.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a nursing program Required
  • 2 years of professional clinical experience Required
  • Cardiovascular focus experience Required
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
  • ACLS Required
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Required

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience caring for LVAD patients and heart transplant patients Preferred
