Employee Recognition & Rewards: A culture that celebrates and rewards your hard work and dedication What you bring to SBHG (qualifications): Associates degree and four (4) years of direct service experience in a Mental Health field OR Bachelor’s degree in social science required, plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field Valid California Driver's License Valid California Driver's License Meets Agency driver eligibility criteria How you will make a difference: This position has primary responsibility for providing case management to clients referred to the program. The Case Manager acts as a point person for facilitation of client needs and partners with Peer Support, Mentors and Family Advocate. Division/Program Overview: • Valley Star Community Services One Stop TAY Center provides counseling and an array of supportive mental health, substance abuse, employment and educational services. • Services are provided in the office, home or in community locations. • Amenities like showers, laundry, phone and internet services available on site. • Center helps young adults ages 16-25 focus on their goals through a variety of services: Individual and family counseling Group Counseling Psychiatric care Medication management Crisis intervention services Intense case management Housing and vocational support Independent living skills training Learn more about SBHG at: https://www.starsinc.com/stars-inc/ For Additional Information: mlawrence@starsinc.com In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 26.16 - 41.85. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law. Requirements

  • Associates degree and four (4) years of direct service experience in a Mental Health field OR Bachelor’s degree in social science required, plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field
