Requirements

  • License: Must possess a current, valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting is preferred.
  • Leadership: Ability to supervise and motivate a team of CNAs while managing clinical priorities.
  • Reliability: A commitment to the NOC shift and the specialized needs of residents during the overnight hours.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Resident Care: Provide high-quality nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring resident status.
  • Supervisory Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants, ensuring all care meets our rigorous quality standards.
  • Clinical Oversight: Ensure all nursing care is delivered in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and facility guidelines.
  • Reporting & Collaboration: Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) to maintain the highest degree of quality care and report any significant changes in resident conditions.
  • Documentation Excellence: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring all shift reports are completed with precision.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the night shift operates efficiently and effectively.
