About The Position

The M365 & Azure Systems Administrator is responsible for the holistic health of our cloud ecosystem. This role bridges the gap between productivity software and cloud infrastructure. You will be the primary architect for identity management, cloud resource.

Requirements

• 8-10 years in IT, with 3+ years specifically managing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments in tandem.
• Compute & Storage: Practical knowledge of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) vs. PaaS (Platform as a Service) and when to deploy each.
• Networking: Deep understanding of VNet peering, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Load Balancers.
• Governance: Experience implementing Azure Policy and Blueprints to enforce corporate standards across subscriptions.
• Monitoring: Proficiency in using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to create dashboards and automated alerts.
• SaaS Management: Expert administration of Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
• Automation: Advanced use of PowerShell (Az and Microsoft.Graph modules) to manage resources at scale.
• Endpoint Management: Leveraging Microsoft Intune for modern management of Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft Entra ID as the backbone of the organization, including B2B/B2C collaborations, Enterprise Applications, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Provision and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (VNets), and Azure Storage solutions to support business applications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Azure VPN Gateways or ExpressRoute, ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises data centers and the cloud.
• Implement Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel to monitor for threats across both the M365 productivity suite and Azure workloads.
• Design and manage backup and recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for both cloud and on-premise assets.
• Monitor and optimize Azure spend using Azure Cost Management, ensuring resources are right-sized and non-production environments are decommissioned when not in use.
