About The Position

The Machine Operator 1 must have good technical knowledge and process great manual dexterity. Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English.     Will use small hand tools, tweezers, cutting blades, soldering iron, manual and electronic screw drivers, etc. to do the job with great precision and accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant college courses preferred.
• Ability to work eight (8) hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools; good dexterity,   eye/hand coordination.
• Prior manufacturing experience as an assembler is preferred but not required.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy are required.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic using MS office/ computer flat form

Responsibilities

• Able to follow written and verbal assembly instructions.
• Able to operate the automated equipment such as: laser labeling, pick and place, reflow oven
• Perform inspection after completion of own work.
• Report issues, malfunction of equipment or defective parts.
• Maintain equipment in good condition while maintaining clean and safe work area.
• Assist in training level 1 assemblers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
