Job Summary
The Machine Operator I performs standardized operations, recognizes defective materials and machine malfunctions, and observes continuous operation of machines to ensure that products meet specifications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• 1 month of related experience

• 3 months of related experience

Responsibilities

• Operating of one or more production machine such as a grinder, mill, drill press, lathe, etc.
• Read work orders, work instructions, or formulas.
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications using measuring instruments.
• Maintain Kurt Manufacturing’s quality standards.
• Reliable attendance is required.
