Machine Operator I - 2nd Shift

Lifecore Biomedical is seeking a hard-working, reliable team player who wants to expand their career in biomedical manufacturing. As a Machine Operator, you will set up and operate packaging equipment in the final manufacturing stages of Lifecore products. During the course of your shift, you will:
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least six months experience in the setup and operation of semi-automated manufacturing equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- The ability to comprehend and follow written operating procedures
- Able to lift 40 pounds
- Able to stand for the majority of your shift
Nice To Haves
- Previous packaging in a medical device or equivalent regulated industry a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment that labels, seals and packages Lifecore products
- Perform all processes as required to label, print, tray seal, pouch, final package and inspect Lifecore products
- Document completed work during the packaging of the products
- Participate in the review of batch records, procedures, and practices to help ensure the safety of Lifecore products as well as personnel
- Acquire and maintain cleanroom and gowning qualifications
