About The Position

The role of Production Machine Operator I (Automatic Production Line) is responsible for running and monitoring automatic machines on a production line to maintain safe, efficient, and consistent output. This position supports production flow by performing quality checks, recording production counts, responding to minor stops or jams, and communicating issues to supervisors, technicians, or maintenance teams. The operator follows standard work, safety requirements, and 5S standards to ensure product quality and line performance. Candidates must possess a working knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety practices, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 + years of manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Proven skills to start up and run automated assembly machines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self ‑ motivated and reliable
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Technical education (mechanical or electrical)
• Experience operating automatic machines in manufacturing
• Knowledge of safety standards, quality inspection, and 5S
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automatic production line equipment according to work instructions.
• Load and unload parts as required while maintaining production flow.
• Perform in-process quality inspections (visual and basic measurement checks).
• Record production counts, scrap, downtime, and abnormalities.
• Respond to minor machine stops such as clearing jams or resetting equipment within training scope.
• Escalate safety, quality, or machine issues to support teams when needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE.
