Position Purpose: A Production Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring all processing via vessels meet the customer and quality standards. Requirements

  • Machine Operators experience is desired
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Display ability to meet daily deadlines and work in a fast- pace environment
  • Proven satisfactory attendance
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and job duties with changing work environment
  • Good communications skills (read, writing, speaking)
  • Proven legible writing skills
  • Requires standing for entire shift, bending, twisting, and lifting
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds or mor on a regular basis
  • Push/pull up to 250 pounds on rollers regularly
  • Universal Pure the Facilities may process, pack, and store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA, team members who may come in direct contact, must be able to work with these ingredients.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform machine operation functions
  • Assist in loading and unloading cylinders
  • Unboxing product and/or re-package product
  • Palletize pallets of products according to customer requirements
  • Review and place labeling on product and/or boxes
  • Responsible for correct code dating on product and/or boxes
  • Must be able to prioritize and perform position responsibilities accurately and to deadline.
  • Work area must remain clean and organized throughout entire shift
  • Required to report issues to leadership immediately
  • Will perform all assigned task in production area by Manager/Supervisor/Lead
  • Perform repetitive jobs on machines.
  • Monitor machines constantly.
  • They may have to operate the machine control system varying various parameters.
  • Vary inputs or tooling to produce different products from the same machine.
  • If the machine develops minor repairs operators fix them.
  • In an automated set up they may have to operate multiple machines simultaneously.
  • May have to enter number of items produced by the machine every hour or in a shift.
  • Report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Communicate changeovers with quality and team lead to make sure a three-party verification takes place.
  • Label change outs.
