About The Position

Ascentec is hiring! We are looking for Machine Operators to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon! This is an excellent "foot in the door" opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude/skills and attention to detail. Weekend Night Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

This position is FT and benefit eligible.

This position is on site (not remote/not hybrid) at our Tualatin, Oregon facility and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• Trade school and/or at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Reliable and Dependable

• Quality Oriented
• Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
• To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

• CNC setup and operation
• Teach tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly
• Read prints and inspect parts for conformance, typically +/- .005 tolerance
• Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
