Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 1st Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour. The hours for this shift are 7:00am - 3:00pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: • You will be responsible for producing a quality part efficiently • Start up and operate extrusion equipment safely and properly • Produce quality parts consistently and efficiently • Set up jobs utilizing the proper installation of dies, adapters, breaker plates and screen packs • Take necessary steps to leave extruder and downstream equipment ready for next job • Clean screw installation All manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for: • Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards • Complying with all work and process instructions • Identifying improvement opportunities • Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job • Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures. • Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton Qualifications: Basic (Required) Qualifications: Minimum one (1) year of experience in an operations/manufacturing environment Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
