Position: Machine Operator Location: Watertown, South Dakota Basic Purpose of Position: The Machine Operator performs set-up, operation, cleaning and general maintenance to the machine which places electronic components on printed circuit boards. Requirements

  • Pay is $18-$20/hour with benefits plus $1.75 shift differential
  • 2nd Shift hours: Monday-Thursday - (3pm-1am)
  • Overtime may be expected on Fridays.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer navigation skills required.
  • Physical: Able to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Language: Ability to read, write and comprehend spoken work instructions in English.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment.
  • This position reports to work onsite - this is not a remote position
  • All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Responsibilities

  • Able to read routers, processes, and work orders.
  • Perform basic machine set-up, operation and tear-down.
  • Place printed circuit board in proper orientation.
  • Monitor machine placement of electronic components for accuracy.
  • Maintain the machine, stencils and related tooling.
  • Operates the systems in a safe manner using proper procedures.
  • Inspect assemblies and be able to identify quality defects.
  • Read machine dials, gauges, and inspect parts.
  • Notify Supervisor, Lead, Process Engineer or Production Manager of problems.
  • Ability to recognize deviations of components, processes, tools and flow of manufacturing.
  • Keep work area neat and organized.
  • Actively promote safety and accident prevention by continually observing all safety practices, rules and standards throughout each working day.
  • All other duties as assigned.
