About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line and sanitizing equipment. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.

Requirements

• Team Members must be in current position for 90 days
• Team Members must have no suspensions or more than 3 written warnings within the past year
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• The Team Member will stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas
• The Team Member will stand 8-10 hours on hard floors
• The Team Member will perform repetitive motions as required in many areas
• The Team Member will work in a cold, damp environment
• The Team Member will work on slippery walking surfaces
